Australian Distilled Spirits Awards

Australian Distilled Spirits Awards is an annual competition that commenced in 2015. The ADSA is undertaken by the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria RASV in conjunction with the Australian Distillers Association. Judging of the awards is conducted at Melbourne Showgrounds, with the Awards presentation dinner held in March in Melbourne, Australia. In 2017, the ADSA introduced two new trophies to reflect evolving production techniques - Champion Aromatic Bitters and Champion Micro Lot.

Curry Awards

The Curry Awards is an award given to curry restaurants in the United Kingdom, which have achieved "total excellence" in all departments by The Curry Club in association with its publication, The Good Curry Guide. The Good Curry Guide Awards ceremony was established in May 1991 by Pat Chapman and was the first awards ceremony of any restaurant sector.


European Beer Star

The European Beer Star is a beer competition, held in 2018 for the fifteenth time. Consideration is given to types of beer which have their origins in Europe. All breweries can participate: local, regional, national and worldwide operating breweries, not only from Europe but from all countries. Prizes are awarded to the beers which best fulfill the respective type criteria, and whose taste and quality impresses the most. In 2018, more than 2.300 beers were tested, an increase of around 10% compared with 2017. In 2018, the awards were given in 65 different beer categories.

The first ever Food Network Awards took place as part of the Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival in Miami on February 23, 2007. Food Photographer of the Year

Food Photographer of the Year is a set of awards presented by The Food Awards Company and title sponsor Pink Lady Apples, given to amateur and professional photographers for excellence in food photography. The Award supports Action Against Hunger, a humanitarian aid organisation specialising in saving the lives of malnourished children in the world’s poorest countries, and has also supported the Great Ormond Street Hospital Childrens Charity.


Glenfiddich Food and Drink Awards

The Glenfiddich Food and Drink Awards were intended to recognize achievements in writing, publishing and broadcasting on the subjects of food and drink. The awards had been sponsored since 1972 by William Grant & Sons, a family-owned Scottish distiller that produces Glenfiddich, a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. In total 12 awards were made annually. In 2008, Glenfiddich decided to discontinue distributing Food and Drink Awards, reviewing their "strategy, scope and potential application in some of Glenfiddich’s key markets outside the UK."

The James Beard Foundation Awards are annual awards presented by the James Beard Foundation to recognize culinary professionals in the United States. The awards recognize chefs, restaurateurs, authors and journalists each year, scheduled around James Beards May 5 birthday. The media awards are presented at a dinner in New York City, the chef and restaurant awards were also presented in New York until 2015, when the Foundations annual gala moved to Chicago. Chicago will continue to host the Awards up to 2027.


James Joyce Pub Award

Michelin Guides are a series of guide books published by the French tyre company Michelin for more than a century.
